Whether it’s a laptop compartment on the back that supports a Macbook up to 13 inches (and a large laptop compartment in the main compartment), the entire bag is lined with shock-absorbing foam to protect your equipment from accidental knocks. And there is a small bag to put small items inside as well. The thick foam padded back strap makes carrying the bag more comfortable and you can store the strap if you want to use the bag as a tote bag. It has a large handle for easy carrying, and during rush hour when boarding a crowded train, you can put the bag on your shoulder without getting in the way and disturbing others. The side pockets can be expanded to fit a large water bottle and have an elastic band to help tighten them. The front pocket has a large ZIP pocket and an interior mesh pocket for small items like glasses and a phone. It also has a key hook. This model is suitable to carry to work, to study, or on casual travel days. And we use water-repellent materials on both the fabric and the zip. No worries about walking in the rain. We have tried every use for 2 years, from creating paper models and sewing many models of Pototypes, trying them out for real until this version is perfect and comfortable to use.
